"White Room" Kishin Shinoyama Masahiro Motoki +, 1991

When a famous Japanese photographer Kishin Shinoyama, meets a handsome actor Masahiro Motoki, it gives a wonderful book:

I selected, hard, 14 of the 77 photographs of structure. This anthology gives a good overview of the beauty of the model development in a masterly manner by this photograph that combines simplicity and great formal beauty:

The book presents itself as a large volume in all white cardboard (305 x 230 mm) of 112 unnumbered pages. It contains 77 photographs in black and white, some over two pages (this who was automatically eliminated in my choice for a hardware problem while scanning). There is no text, except for very simple pages of half-title and title. It is covered with a jacket and you can find copies of which still bear the mailing label (which is not the case with mine).

It bears the title supplementary Accidents 2 , a series of 3 books of nude photography in black and white, devoted entirely to Japanese people. It was published by Asahi Press in 1991. Acccident 1, also published in 1991, is devoted to actress Kanako Higuchi, under the title Water and fruit Accidents 3 is devoted to another actress Shinobu Otake, under the title Light of the Dark (1993).

Kishin Shinoyama is a Japanese photographer who was born in 1940, which is devoted primarily to commercial photography. He became famous for his nudes, mostly female. He is the author of the famous photograph of the kiss between John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Closer to our topic, it is also the author of the photograph of Mishima in San Sebastian.

See his record Wkipedia ( click here) and his bibliography and illustrated, comprehensive ( click here).

actor Masahiro Motoki, born in 1965, little known in France, seems very popular in his country. He started as a member of a Boys Band, before turning to filmmaking. Her filmography is impressive. His last film released in France in 2008,
Departures shows that he followed the path of a film demanding that does not predict its infancy. See his Wikipedia
leaflet in English (click here ) and his filmography on IMDB (click here ).
